With Power Over POTUS, Erica Vlahinos is back and better than ever. After the surprise hit of her first show Palin LIVE!, which is now transferring for a full-scale run in Washington D.C., Vlahinos is back in action in NYC with her newest piece of in-your-face funny theatre.

Power Over POTUS, which is on its second extension and is now running through October, is the gossip-fueled political comedy that spills the true tales of the real women who #%!@ presidents, proving that the broads with the biggest influence were the blackmailing female athletes, models, actresses and scandal causing staff, and these ladies never acted First Lady-like.

From the first moments of the show, which kicks off with a hilarious pop rock romp, the audience was in the palm of her hands waiting on baited breath to hear what titillating fact or hilarious joke was next to come. Power Over POTUS dances the line between sexy, funny and true, propelled by Vlahinos' magnetic performance, brilliantly witty lyrics/dialogue, music deserving of a cast album and the truly fascinating lives of these historic women. Trust me when I say Power Over POTUS is the show you've been waiting for, a fanciful farce where it's Trump's turn to go down. Vlahinos, who is also the writer and producer, has a knack for giving voices to the voiceless. Starting with the ever hated Sarah Palin, Vlahinos' first NYC production both satirized the far-right movement and humanized the woman born into it. This tactic is back in play more than ever in Power Over POTUS as she takes Monica Lewinsky, Melania Trump and many more and turns them from the butt of the joke into the hilarious and unlikely heros of the piece, challenging the ideas of fidelity, power and gender through an hour of non-stop laughs.

As her fan club is ever growing, a quality that turned Palin LIVE! from a two-show run to a two-year residency at the Laurie Beechman, Vlahinos' knack for captivating a room, delivering the funny and adding an injection of heart and likability has become undeniable. I can't wait to see what's next for her career, which her talent has ensured is limitless. It isn't an overstatement to say: film has Tina, television has Lena and now the theatre has Erica Vlahinos.

Power Over POTUS is running now through October 17th at The Laurie Beechman Theatre. Tickets are available at www.PowerOverPotus.com.
