'Eretz Nehederet' Comedian Arrested for Sexual Assault of 17-Year-Old Girl

Israeli satire show "Eretz Nehederet" cast memeber Yaron Berlad, 37, was detained and questioned on suspicion of assaulting a 17-year-old girl, said police on Tuesday.
Berlad was revealed to be the "mystery celebrity" arrested after the gag order was lifted. Hadera Police questioned him on Monday night and later released him on house arrest.
Reportedly, the victim told police that Berlad promised her a part on his show and then assaulted her in his car, but she managed to escape.
Berlad has been suspended from Eretz Nehederet until further notice. He denies the accusations against him and said of this situation, "I hope I'll be able to explain my side as soon as possible." Berlad also claims the girl told him she was of age.
