Chris Carmack, currently starring in Roundabout Theatre Company's revival of Entertaining Mr. Sloane, will appear on "WB11 Morning News" on Tuesday, March 21st at 8:30-9:00AM and ABC's "The Tony Danza Show" on Tuesday, March 21st at 10:00-11:00AM.
Entertaining
Mr. Sloane, which began previews on February 17th, opened officially on Thursday, March 16th at the Laura
Pels Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111
West 46 Street). The show, which stars Alec Baldwin, will play a limited engagement through Sunday, May 21,
2006.
"Joe
Orton's classic dark comedy Entertaining Mr. Sloane centers on a
handsome stranger with a secret, his libidinous landlady, her
gender-bending brother and geriatric father. Kath's (Jan Maxwell) language
may be prim but her intentions are blatant when she picks up Mr. Sloane
(Chris Carmack) and takes him in as a lodger. Attractive, mischievous and
dangerous, Sloane eventually has Kath, her brother Ed (Alec Baldwin) and
their father Kemp (Richard Easton) eating out of his hand as they all compete
for his favors. Together they play out a sexual tug of war, sparking a
series of murderously funny events in this survival of the fittest
power struggle where they will resort to anything to get what they
want," state press notes.
