Engeman Theatre Presents RAPUNZEL, 2/7-3/27

The John W. Engeman Theater at Northport is proud to present RAPUNZEL - A Tangled Fairytale, part of the TD BANK Youth Theater Series.
 
Rapunzel is an adaptation of The Brothers Grimm Fairytale with twists and some contemporary touches.  This tangled cast of 4 talented actors performs all 12 roles in the play.  This musical retelling of a fairytale favorite gives the story of a possessive mother who happens to be a witch, a timid young man who happens to be a prince and a determined but immature young girl with the longest hair you've ever seen. 
 
The cast of Rapunzel features: Christina Corsaro (Woman 1: Rapunzel, Cobbler's Wife); Jennifer Collister-Tully (Woman 2: Witch, Wigmaker); Adam Moesbach (MAN 2: Storyteller, Simon the Valet, Innkeeper, Man with Mop, Castle Guard, King); Josh Rothberg (MAN 1: Prince Brian, Cobbler) and Ally Antun(Swing). 
 
The Director is Mark Adam Rampmeyer.  The Musical Director is Anthony Didonna.  The Assistant to the Director is Ally Antun.  Sonoka Fukuma-Gozelski is the Set and Props Designer.  The Costume Designer is Lauren Paragallo.  The Lighting Designer is Michael Visco and the Sound Designer is Katherine Miller. 
 
Rapunzel will play the following performance schedule: Saturdays at 11:00 am and Sundays at 10:00 am February 7, 2011 through March 27, 2011.  There will also be a special matinee performance on Wednesday February 23 at 12:00 pm.
