Comedian and actor, Elon Gold stars in Half Jewish, Half Very Jewish, a personal, off-beat and very funny take on Judaism that will dispel negative stereotypes while reinforcing many others, at The Gramercy Theater December 9 at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $30.00 and are available at www.LiveNation.com, charge by phone 800-745-3000 and all Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets are also available at the Irving Plaza box office - 17 Irving Place @ East 15th Street. The Gramercy Theater is located at 127 East 23rd Street, Between Lexington Ave. and Park Ave. South in New York City.

In "Half Jewish, Half Very Jewish," Gold takes his "what's the matter with us?" insights and observations, and zeroes in on the absurdities of his own people. He riffs on everything from the endless barrage of holidays and customs to Jesus' Jewishness. And if you're not Jewish don't worry; the show is closed captioned for the Hebrew impaired.

Gold premiered "Half Jewish, Half Very Jewish" at the prestigious Just For Laughs international comedy festival in Montreal to sold out audiences, rave reviews and standing ovations. With this show, Gold has emerged as the premier comedic voice of his people. He is currently touring this show in theaters across North America.

Performing stand-up since he was 17, Gold is a regular guest on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and was a regular correspondent on the "Jay Leno Show." Elon wrote and performed on ABC's "The Dana Carvey Show," developed and starred in the NBC series "In-Laws" with Dennis Farina and scored the luckiest gig in the world when he was cast to star opposite Pamela Anderson in the Fox sitcom "Stacked." He's made several appearances on "Chappelle's Show," "Chelsea Lately" and guest starred on shows such as "Frasier," "Las Vegas" and most recently on the CBS smash hit, "The Mentalist."
