Elizabeth Rodriguez and More Join Labyrinth Theater's Kids-Themed THE FOREST PLAY at Barn Series Festival Today

LAByrinth Theater Company, the award-winning, downtown ensemble has announced a special addition to its 13th Annual Barn Series of free play readings. The Forest Play, an epic, arboreal adventure for children and adults, written by Lola Glaudini and Kostas Anagnopoulos, will be performed at the Bank Street Theater today, December 15th at 1pm.

The cast features Tony Award-nominee and Labyrinth Company Member Elizabeth Rodriguez (The Motherf**ker With The Hat, Labyrinth Company Members Maggie Bofill (Dutch Heart of Man) Scott Hudson (Our Lady of 121st Street), Angela Lewis (Unconditional), Richard Petrocelli (Our Lady of 121st Street), and Neil Tryone Pritchard (StorytellingNYC).

Intended for kids 5 to 9 years old, this treeful tale tells the story of a few young friends who lose their way during a journey into the woods behind their house. And as they try to find their way home, they encounter some of the forest's strangest and silliest inhabitants, who teach our heroes a few things about their wild side.

Free tickets are available by calling the Labyrinth box office at (212) 513-1080, or in person at the Bank Street Theater, beginning one hour before the reading. Adventurers of all ages are welcome to attend. The Bank Street Theater is located at 155 Bank Street, between Washington and West Streets, in Manhattan's West Village.
