Broadway and television actress Elizabeth Marvel will be featured at "Shop Talk" on Monday, February 27 at 7:30 PM, at the Drama Book Shop, 250 West 40th Street.
"A major addition to the New York theatre scene, 'Shop Talk' is a continuing series of one-on-one conversations with the people who make theatre, film, and television happen. This will be the second 'Shop Talk' co-presentation between The Drama Book Shop and The LynneThigpen/Bobo Lewis Foundation, a non-profit organization devoted to mentoring the next generation of Broadway theatre professionals. 'Shop Talk; evenings will be reminiscent of 'Inside The Actor's Studio' but in a more intimate and immediate setting," according to press notes.
Marvel recently appeared on Broadway in the revival of
Edward Albee's
Seascape. Other Broadway credits include
An American Daughter, Taking Sides, Saint Joan and
The Seagull, while off-Broadway she has been seen in
A Second Hand Memory, Hedda Gabler, Alice in Bed and
Lydie Breeze, among others. Film and TV credits include "Law and Order: Criminal Intent," "The District" and
The Dying Gaul.
