Just announced! The NYC debut of ELIJAH JAMAL QUINTET and Guests performing on Friday, September 4! The quintet is led by saxophonist and composer Elijah Jamal Balbed, a Washington DC native named "Best Tenor Saxophonist" and "Best New Jazz Musician" by the Washington City Paper.

In other news, due to venue renovations tied to an exciting news announcement from THE IRIDIUM, please note that RAIN PRYOR: "Divorced - Dangerous & Divalicious - Songs of Hope, Heartache & Truth" and PAUL SHAPIRO'S RIBS & BRISKET REVUE have been moved to Saturday, October 24.

This week, expect the CD release show for KOFO "THE WONDERMAN" & THE DAYLIGHT STARS latest 'Message 102' on Wednesday, October 26! Blending an afro-beat sound (JUJU and traditional music from Lagos, Nigeria) with funk, soul and jazz, drum master Kofo has been performing with David Byrne and the Atomic Bomb! Band since 2014, and collectively The Daylight Stars has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry including Sting, Chaka Khan, Harry Belafonte, and Barbara Streisand; Blues rock supergroup ROYAL SOUTHERN BROTHERHOOD featuring Cyril Neville, Devon Allman, Yonrico Scott, & Charlie Wooten will be performing two shows on Thursday, August 27; THE ED PALERMO BIG BAND featuring Napoleon Murphy Brock will be performing four jazz shows Friday, August 28 through Saturday, August 29; and ANDREA BELL WOLFF will be performing her cabaret show "Bad Girls Do Cry" on Sunday, August 30. Featuring a music and comedy tribute to the girl group sound of the 1960s, Wolff is a comic actress and singer who has toured with Disney and worked on the Ed Sullivan Show as well as the Donny and Marie Show.
