Known for his quick wit and caustic-style of comedy, Eddie Ifft has a habit of speaking first and then thinking, which gets him in trouble - a lot. Having been fired from most jobs, including a short stint at his father's insurance firm (where he was either fired or asked to pursue a new career - depending on whom you ask) Eddie took to the stage in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at an open-mic night and realised he was being paid to mouth off...and so began his stand-up career.

As a stand-up, Eddie has performed around the world. He has proudly told jokes in most Comedy Clubs in the United States, UK and Australia, and toured in more than 15 countries. This year alone he headlined across the United States and in Australia, performing to sold-out crowds. He has also made numerous TV appearances on shows such as Comedy Central's Premium Blend, BET's Comic View, NBC's Late Friday Night, VH1's Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Comic's Unleashed and Chelsea Lately, and released his own 30-minute special for Comedy Central. Eddie's popularity has span to Australia, where he has appeared on numerous TV shows, including Rove, Thank God You're Here, The Footy Show and Good News Week.

Eddie has also performed at major comedy festivals including, Just For Laughs-The Montreal Comedy Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Melbourne Comedy Festival and the New Zealand Comedy Festival.

As a stand up, there is not much Eddie hasn't done. He was proud to be one of five finalists in the MySpace/Sierra Mist Stand Up or Sit Down Challenge - which aired on TBS, has performed alongside comedy greats such as Dave Chapelle, Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock and Robin Williams, and after the success of his first two CDs Jokes that Make My Friends Laugh and I learned the Hard Way, Eddie is about to release his third CD and a DVD Live from Australia, taped in front of a sold-out crowd at Sydney Opera House.

A prolific writer and director, Eddie's worldwide travels were chronicled in a feature length documentary film, entitled America the Punchline.

Eddie has also worked as the host of Shark Week, spent a season as the ABC College Football Guy, earned a job as 'man-on-the-street' on the Queen Latifah Show, hosted a pilot Strap-On for Comedy Central, and co-hosted a sports radio show on New York's legendary WNEW.
