THE THROWBACKS, a new musical announces casting for the one night only performance at the 2013 New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF). THE THROWBACKS will be performed on Monday, July 22 at 5PM and 8:30PM at Signature Studio Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center.

THE THROWBACKS, directed by DIANNE EDSON, features a book and lyrics by Oscar and Emmy nominee TOM RICKMAN (The Coal Miner's Daughter, The Reagans and Truman) and music by LA Emmy winner BARBARA ROTTMAN (Dusty's Treehouse). Alan Schmuckler serves as Musical Director.

The cast includes Ed Dixon (LES MISERABLES, Sunday in the Park with George, Mary Poppins), Drew Eshelman (LES MISERABLES), Harvey Evans (Sunset Boulevard, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Oklahoma!, Leap of Faith), Jimmi Kilduff (Republic, Matthew Passion, The Medium), Jeanne lehman (The Sound of Music, Beauty and the Beast), Megan McGinnis (Beauty and the Beast, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Little Women), Michael Minarik (Rock of Ages, LES MISERABLES), Andre Montgomery (Hear The Flowers Singing, Disgustingly Rich), Christianne Tisdale (Beauty and the Beast, Triumph of Love), Terri White (Follies, Finian's Rainbow, Nunsense), with a chorus of four including Richard Clark, ASHTON FOSTER, JOHNNY HAGER and KELLY SLOAN.

THE THROWBACKS, when a cantankerous billionaire sends two greedy nephews to uncover the mystery surrounding his long-lost love, their journey takes them to a seedy pub, a "red light" district and a dilapidated Chateau. Discover what happens on the search for unfulfilled dreams in this fantastic farce with a lush score - and plenty of romantic intrigue.

Other members of the creative and production team include David Sexton (lighting design), Barry Moss (casting), KEVIN LAIBSON (production consultant), JONATHAN JONES (co-producer), OWEN SPRUILL (co-producer), Joshua ParkIN-RING (stage manager) and Jay Levy (assistant stage
manager).
