ENRON Announces New West End Cast; National & International Tour Planned

The West End production of ENRON has announced that they will welcome a new cast next week.

The new cast includes Corey Johnson as Jefferey Skilling, Paul Chahidi as Andy Fastow, and Sara Stewart as Claudia Roe.  They will play alongside Clive Francis, Ewan Wardrop, Shane Attwool, Antonio Magro, Matt Blair, Jason Langley, Saskia Butler Sumon Coombs, Ed Hughes, Matt Dempsey, Leila Benn Harris, Suzannah Fellows and Derek Hagen.

Also announced is the development of a touring company, which will launch this August at Chichester Festival Theatre. After playing at Chichester, the production will begin a U.K. national tour. The tour will visit Birmingham, Bath, Salford, Sheffield, Newcastle and Edinburgh. Futher dates will be announced, including international locations.

Inspired by real-life events and using music, dance and video, ENRON explores one of the most infamous scandals in financial history, reviewing the tumultuous 1990s and casting a new light on the financial turmoil in which the world currently finds itself. The cast (until 8 May) includes Samuel West as Enron's CEO Jeffrey Skilling, with Amanda Drew, Tom Goodman-Hill and Tim Pigott-Smith.

Since it opened in the West End in January 2010, ENRON has broken box office and attendance records at the Noel Coward Theatre.

ENRON opens on Broadway at the Broadhurst Theatre On 27 April 2010, and a 10-week tour opens at Chichester Festival Theatre on 10 September 2010.

ENRON won Rupert Goold an Evening Standard Award and a Critics Circle Award for Best Director and the production has received six Olivier Award nominations.
