As previously reported, Nederlander Sales & Patron Services, Camp Broadway®, Broadwayworld.com and Planet Hollywood are presenting the 2nd annual Educators Expo on Monday, September 20, 3pm - 7 pm, at the Minskoff Theatre, 200 West 45th Street. The At This Stage Education Expo will showcase the wide variety of educational programs being offered by Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, Times Square area attractions and other industry service organizations. K-12 teachers, Parent/Teachers Association members, Scout Troop leaders and other youth focused organization administrators are invited to attend free by emailing rsvpnyc@nederlander.com.
Dozens of theatrical productions, attractions and theatre industry service organizations will be exhibiting including Billy Elliott: THE MUSICAL, ELF, HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING, IN THE HEIGHTS, LOMBARDI, MARY POPPINS, MEMPHIS, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET; PROMISES, PROMISES; RAIN, ROCK OF AGES, Matthew Bourne'S: SWAN LAKE, THE 39 STEPS, THE ADDAMS FAMILY, THE LION KING, WICKED, WONDERLAND and others. The Drama Book Shop will be featuring a wide range of popular performing arts books and their authors.
The event also includes a lecture series featuring Broadway composer Frank Wildhorn (WONDERLAND), authors Laurence Maslon ('Broadway: The American Musical'), Robert
Viagas ('The Alchemy of Theatre') and Carol de Giere ('Defying Gravity: the Creative Career of Stephen Schwartz, from Godspell to Wicked'). Composer Andrew Lippa will also preview "Define Normal", a multi-media learning module inspired by the educational themes in The Addams Family.

The At This Stage Education Expo is a featured event of The Broadway League's Back to Broadway Month and recognizes the importance of U.S. House of Representatives declaration of Arts in Education Week.Â
