Drumstruck will be featured on WNYC (93.9fm) Radio's "Soundcheck" tomorrow, Thursday, May 26 from 2 PM to 3 PM.

The world's first interactive drum-theatre experience,
Drumstruck's company members will delight listeners with live performances. The company, as well as director David Warren, will also be interviewed.

Drumstruck, which comes from sold-out engagements in Johannesburg, South Africa and Sydney, Australia, is making its American debut off-Broadway at Dodger Stages, Stage 2 (340 West 50th Street, NYC). The show "provides a 2-foot-tall drum on every seat - and the entire audience gets the chance to make music together. Featuring 11 South and West African percussionists, they start the show with a pulse-racing bang: song, dance and eye blurring drum performances. Then they lead the audience in an exhilarating experience of exuberant African drumming," states the show's press release.

Drumstruck's running time is one hour, 25 minutes with no intermission, and performance times are Tuesday - Saturday at 8:00 PM, Saturday at 2:00 PM, and Sunday at 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Tickets to Drumstruck are available at the Dodger Stages box office by calling Telecharge.com at (212) 239-6200, (800) 432-7250 outside the NY metro area, or ordering online.
