Drummer Adam Weingarten is the latest musician to join Rev. Mary and Granny's Blue-Mers, the raucous cabaret band singing saucy tunes from way back in the day when censorship necessitated the need for clever double-entendre-laden lyrics.

Rev. Mary hosts Granny's Blues Jam, premiering at the West End Lounge on February 18 at 8:00 p.M. Adam Weingarten makes his maiden voyage with the group, who has been touring New York's trendiest clubs for nearly two years.

Weingarten, a recent graduate of Hartford U splits his time between working as a sound engineer for entertainment company, Pella Productions, and playing and composing music, Weingarten has already served as a pit performer for more than 100 productions in and around New York, and has his own band performing coffee house-style rock/folk music.

"I'm thrilled to join Rev. Mary's merry band" said the 23 year old drummer, "I got some great ideas!" he concluded.

Rev. Mary's Blues Jam will be a monthly attraction at the trendy Upper West Side bar and cabaret.
