"In The Drowsy Chaperone, a modern day musical theatre fan known simply as 'Man in Chair' drops the needle on his favorite cast album – the 1928 musical comedy The Drowsy Chaperone. From the crackle of his hi-fi, the uproariously funny musical magically bursts to life on stage," press materials state.

"Now, a limited edition, 13-track record recreates 'Man in Chair's experience listening to his cherished cast album and features added scene dialogue, vintage cover artwork, Broadway production photographs, lyrics, liner notes and an included bonus CD of the vinyl record's content.

The Drowsy Chaperone has been called a love letter to the musical theater; the re-mastered vinyl rarity is the perfect Valentine's Day gift - the definitive piece of theater memorabilia from "Man in Chair," the ultimate theatre fan. Now fans everywhere can bring The Drowsy Chaperone to life in their own living rooms with the collector's item album that looks just like the record 'Man in Chair' worships in the hit Broadway musical."
