Drew Gehling, Sierra Boggess, Adam Chanler-Berat, Matt Doyle & More Lead Lab for Broadway-Bound THE SECRET GARDEN

Producers Gerald Goehring and Michael F. Mitri announced today the cast for the lab of the highly-anticipated Broadway revival of the Tony Award-winning musical, The Secret Garden. With book and lyrics by Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize® winner Marsha Norman, music by Tony Award nominee Lucy Simon and based on the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, The Secret Garden will be directed, choreographed, and reimagined for a new generation by Tony Award winner Warren Carlyle. The lab will be held from May 19 through June 8.

The cast will feature Clifton Duncan as Archibald, Drew Gehling as Neville Craven, Sierra Boggess as Lily, Amber Iman as Martha, Adam Chanler-Berat as Dickon, Brooklyn Shuck as Mary, Cameron Mann as Colin, Matt Doyle as Albert, Sally Ann Triplett as Medlock, Jim Norton as Ben, Anoop Desai as Fakir, and Kuhoo Verma as Ayah. The Secret Garden will be co-produced by John & Danita Thomas and Fred & Randi Sternfeld.

First produced on Broadway in 1991, The Secret Garden ran for more than seven- hundred performances, snagging six Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical, and winning for Best Book of a Musical, Best Featured Actress in a Musical (Daisy Egan), and Best Scenic Design of a Musical. It won the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Musical.
