The Dramatists Guild of America continues their successful DuoLogues seminar series, featuring a conversation between celebrated authors Micki Grant and Kia Corthron, occurring Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at 5:30 p.m. The conversation will take place at the Dramatists Guild's New York office, in the Frederick Loewe Room, 1501 Broadway (between 43rd and 44th Streets), Suite 710. This free seminar is open to the public and reservations are required.
Micki Grant is a multi-faceted singer, actress, writer and composer. Her credits include Don't Bother Me, I Can't Cope, Your Arms Too Short to Box With God and Working. She is the recipient of the National Black Theatre Festival's Living Legend Award and the AUDELCO's Outstanding Pioneer Award.
Kia Corthron is the author of Breath, Boom, Light Raise the Roof, Force Continuum and A Cool Dip in the Barren Saharan Crick. She is the recipient of a
Daryl Roth Creative Spirit Award, and a NEA/TCG Theatre Residency. This promises to be a fascinating evening of conversation and craft. These talented and imaginative writers will also take audience questions at the end of the evening.
