Urban Cricket presents another installment of its live monthly storytelling show, "Big City Stories," tonight, October 21, 2014 at 9:30 p.m. Show is at Old Man Hustle, 39 Essex Street in Manhattan. Admission is free; wine & beer are not. Doors open at 9:15. Space is extremely limited, so show up early if you want a seat at the bar.

Storytellers include:

"Big City Stories" is a live monthly show where performers tell stories about urban life. Our goal is to create a space that's cool for people of all identities & talents to share.

Urban Cricket. is a New York City based streetwear brand that consists of Audrey Nasar, a former mathematics professor at Parsons The New School for Design, and Gloria Erani, a graphic designer and authentic Brooklynite. Screen-printed graphic tees are the primary medium for their messages, which usually consist of stories and imagery gathered in and around NYC. Working out of their current home at 29 Essex Street on the Lower East Side, and co-hosting the monthly show-and-tell "Urban Crickets: Big City Stories", Urban Cricket. Tommy O'Malley is a Brooklyn-based writer and storyteller. His work has appeared in the Austin American-Statesman, Show Business Weekly, "Queerty," "Swagger New York" and more. He has appeared on "RISK!" (hosted by Kevin Allison), "What Are You Afraid Of?" (hosted by Mara Wilson), and "Tell the Bartender" (hosted by Katharine Heller). He is a member of The Civilians' Field Research Team.
