Jim Caruso will present Douglas Hodge, star of the Broadway production of La Cage Aux Folles, in concert, Douglas Hodge As A Man, at Birdland on Monday, February 7 at 7pm. Musical Director Sonny Paladino will lead the four-piece band.

Douglas is a thrice Olivier-nominated classical actor living in Oxford, England. He is currently playing Albin in La Cage Aux Folles at the Longacre Theater, for which he won the Tony, the Olivier, the Drama Desk and the Outer Critics Circle awards. Douglas has another life as a songwriter, writing an eclectic mix of jazz and folk inspired tunes. This will be an evening of songs from his two albums - NIGHTBUS, and COWLEY ROAD SONGS with a special preview of some of the music he has written for the new musical MEANTIME. This concert marks his Birdland debut!
