Dorothy Bishop Has NYC Fans In Stitches ImageFollowing a 17-month run in the smash Off-Broadway spoof Spamilton, where she impersonated divas from Liza Minnelli to Barbra Streisand, Dorothy Bishop is primed to dazzle you on Friday, June 1st at 9:30 at the Triad Theater in her "novel and hysterical" (Huffington Post) show "The Dozen Divas."

You see, Spamilton hardly scratched the surface of Dorothy's talent for mimicry. In this fast-paced revue she does Liza and Barbra and Stevie and Adele and Cher... and too many others to mention!

"The Dozen Divas" features all live vocals, lightning-fast onstage costume changes, multi-media duets, live vocals and special guests from New York's Broadway and Off Broadway talent. Recent guests have included Charles Osborne (Spamilton / Forbidden Broadway) and Brian Charles Rooney (Three Penny Opera).

And always a very special guest star is Luther, a Chihuahua Dorothy rescued while on tour in Mexico, who raises his voice in song in the show's finale.

Now in its record-breaking fourth year, "The Dozen Divas" has been nominated for two Broadway World Awards and three Mac Awards for best musical comedy show.
