Dorian Baroque, Inc. is a New-York based ensemble of musicians who perform on period instruments, presenting orchestral, chamber and operatic music ranging from the early baroque period to the present. The diverse musical backgrounds of the performers bring a philosophy to music making that is focused on exploring the versatility of historical instruments led by the principles of the baroque period - opulence, exuberance, dissonance, and ornate grandeur. The orchestra made its debut in June 2012 and has since been integrating into the early music landscape of New York City.
