Donna McKechnie & More Join Harbor Lights Theater Company's SHOWSTOPPERS Benefit

The Harbor Lights Theater Company (Harbor Lights), Staten Island's only professional Equity Theater Company, led by Founders and Artistic Directors Tamara Jenkins and Jay Montgomery, has announced SHOWSTOPPERS a thrilling evening of song and dance!

Six years! 23 productions!.... Showstoppers is the night to celebrate with legendary performers together on stage for ONE NIGHT ONLY Thursday, April 28th at 7 P.M. at the Music Hall, Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden.

Proceeds from the fundraising event will support Harbor Lights 2016 Season.

Tony winner, Donna McKechnie, known the world over for her portrayal of 'Cassie' in the original production of A Chorus Line, is featured, along with legendries such as Tony nominee Willy Falk the original 'Chris' in Miss Saigon, Tony nominee Larry Marshall, (The Color Purple, Hair, Porgy and Bess), and Emmy nominee Mandy Bruno, (Guiding Light, Les Miserables.)

Carol Woods, (Chicago, Across the Universe, Sweet and Lowdown,) has also joined the cast which includes local Broadway veterans Mimi Quillin, (Sweet Charity, Ragtime), and Analise Scarpaci, (Matilda, A Christmas Story.)

Previously announced Broadway talent for the event includes Patti Mariano, (42nd Street, Full Monty,) Alena Watters, (Pippin, Addams Family, Sister Act,) Kirsti Carnahan, (Kiss of the Spiderwoman, Baby,) and Susann Fletcher (Robbins' Broadway, How To Succeed, Guys and Dolls.) Returning casts from Harbor Lights highly acclaimed productions of West Side Story (featuring Alena Watters,) Gypsy (featuring Anthony Johnson), and Rent (featuring Travis Artz and Nick DeVito) will also perform.

The production is led by director Joe Locarro (Suspension Productions) and under the musical direction of Wendy Cavett (Mama Mia.)
