Taking time off from his residency in Las Vegas, comedian Don Barnhart will once again lead the Battle Comics World Tour as they head to the Middle East bringing laughter to the men and women serving overseas in war zones.

Entertaining the troops has always been a priority for Las Vegas based comedian Don Barnhart and it's evident by his 25 years of service producing and performing comedy shows for the military. Since 1992, Barnhart has performed, recruited talent and produced tours for Armed Forces Entertainment, The USO, Comic's On Duty and has even self-funded tours in an effort to boost the morale and welfare of those serving overseas.

"It's an honor and privilege to take time off from my show and bring these tours to the troops", said Barnhart in a recent interview while entertaining onboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. "As citizens, I feel it's important for each of us to do our part to help boost the morale and welfare of those willing to put their life on the line to protect our way of life. We try to do as many shows as possible but due to limited funding there are only so many possibilities". The Battle Comics operate similar to The USO where sponsors are able to donate funds to help underwrite or even produce an entire tour.

The 2017 Battle Comics Middle East Tour is produced by Armed Forces Entertainment and will visit bases throughout Kuwait and Iraq. The tour is lead by Barnhart and features comedians: Richie Minervini whose credits include Mall Cop 1, Mall Cop 2, Zookeeper, Grown Ups, Grown Ups 2 and The King of Queens, Jim McDonald who made regular appearances on Late Night with David Letterman and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Marc Yaffee from Showtime special, Goin' Native and Comics Unleashed and Eric Streit who as a producer brought to TV Ice Lake Rebels, Iron and Fire, Little People Big World, Gator Boys, Intervention and Love on The Rocks. Due to security, exact locations of the shows cannot be disclosed.

When Barnhart isn't on tour performing for the troops or headlining the top Comedy Clubs across the country, he appears nightly in Las Vegas at Jokesters Comedy Club at The D Hotel. Don also stars in the upcoming sitcom and web series Class Clowns and the comedy documentary Finding The Funny with Brad Garrett and Louie Anderson. His new book Finding Your Funny hit the best-seller list on Amazon and he is the creator and host of The Freedom of Speech Comedy TV Show.
