Divine Performing Arts, a lavish production born of the belief by the people of China that their traditional culture was divinely bestowed, will take the form of a new musical and dance extravaganza when the internationally acclaimed company of sixty performers appears for a limited 3-performance run, Friday, December 19 at 8 P.M. and Saturday, December 20, at 2 P.M. and 8 P.M. at the Au Rene Theatre of the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, 201 SW Fifth Avenue.

A new edition of last season's capacity run of "Holiday Wonders," Divine Performing Arts, created as a non-profit organization and performance troupe that is consciously independent of the current Chinese regime, is internationally acknowledged as the world's premier Chinese dance and music company. Geared to family audiences and drawn from the pages of history, the show is an inspiring landscape of traditional music, lyrical song, acrobatics, and choreography, further enhanced by magnificent costumes and breathtaking visual backdrops blending a cultural renewal of the past with present day contemporary technology.

Universally praised, Divine Performing Arts has toured throughout the world and has been seen in such prestigious halls as New York's Radio City Music Hall, London's Royal Festival Hall, Los Angeles' Kodak Theatre and Le Palais de Congres in Paris.

Tickets at $29, $49, $69, $89, and $109 are available via Ticketmaster, (305) 358-5885; online www.BrowardCenter.org; and at the Box Office (954) 462-0222.
