The official description of the A RAISIN IN THE SUN talkback is as follows: "Join us for an inside look at the Broadway revival of Lorraine Hansberry's "A Raisin in the Sun" with members of the play's cast and creative team. WQXR's Elliott Forrest takes us behind the curtain with director and Tony Award nominee Kenny Leon; Tony Award winner Diahann Carroll; Academy Award nominee Sophie Okonedo; and Tony Award winner Anika Noni Rose. Set in Chicago's South Side, "A Raisin in the Sun" revolves around the divergent dreams and conflicts within three generations of the Younger family. Originally produced in 1959, it is the first play written by an African-American woman to be produced on Broadway, where it won the New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Play. This event is part of our Inside Look series of conversations and backstage videos that take you behind the curtain of the season's most anticipated Broadway shows."
Of note, the A RAISIN IN THE SUN talkback occurs on February 27.
