Derek Klena (Wicked, Bridges of Madison County, Second Stage's DogFight), Natalie Weiss (Everyday Rapture, Wicked, Les Miserables), and Stephen C. Anthony (The Book of Mormon, Catch Me If You Can) are all set to guest star in Danielle Wade sings Carner & Gregor at the Metropolitan Room (34 W. 22nd St., New York, NY) tonight, October 13th at 9:30pm.
Actress/Singer Danielle Wade, who burst on the Canadian scene in 2012 with her weekly television appearances-and win-of Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Over the Rainbow: Search for the Next Dorothy," going on to play Dorothy for the Toronto run and North American tour of The Wizard Of Oz, will be make her solo concert debut singing the songs of Sam Carner and Derek Gregor, who first discovered her.
Natalie Weiss, who'll sing Carner & Gregor duets with Wade over the course of the evening, remarked, "Danielle Wade is such a captivating performer, and Derek and Sam's music is amazing so put two and two together and voila! you have magic."
When asked about her three special guests, Wade said, "I am beyond thrilled to have such talented guest stars for the show. I admire and look up to each of them in so many ways. It's insane to think I will get to perform with people I listen to on my IPod!"

About Natalie Weiss: Last August, Natalie Weiss completed a 2 1/2 year run, performing multiple ensemble roles on the Les Mis 25th anniversary tour. In 2010, she made her Broadway debut understudying the Menonettes in Everyday Rapture, starring Sherie Rene Scott. She also performed in the ensemble and understudied Elphaba in the 2nd national tour of Wicked. Natalie was an American Idol season 4 semi-finalist, has performed the National Anthem at Cowboys & Shea Stadium, but is most well known for her Youtube videos. She has gained an international following from her performance videos & popular web series, "Breaking Down The Riffs", which have collectively reached over 3 million views. Natalie released her self-titled debut CD in early 2011 and has been giving sold-out solo concerts and master classes across the country.

About Danielle Wade: Danielle Wade left school in 2012 to compete in the CBC television program "Over the Rainbow," Andrew Lloyd Webber's search for the next Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. She won and played Dorothy for nearly two years in the Toronto production and subsequent North American tour of the first Canadian company. From the Chicago Tribune: "Danielle Wade, who carts around Toto in the new touring production of "The Wizard of Oz," was chosen by the good people of Canada ... and in the case of Wade, I'd say they did a better job than most Broadway casting directors. Wade's Dorothy is perfectly charming."
Danielle will play Cinderella in Toronto this fall at the Elgin Theatre. "Danielle Wade sings Carner & Gregor" marks her New York concert debut.
About Carner & Gregor: Sam Carner and Derek Gregor were included in Playbill.com's 12 "Contemporary Musical Theatre Songwriters You Should Know," and their work has been performed on 6 continents (including Antarctica). Their musical Unlock'd played an extended Off-Broadway run at the Duke Theater in 2013 ("gorgeous" -NYTimes "Astounding, enveloping" -Talkin' Broadway). Previously Unlock'd won a Richard Rodgers Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters and was produced at the New York Musical Theatre Festival, where it won the "Best of the Fest" audience award and received Talkin' Broadway citations for "Outstanding New Musical" and "Outstanding Original Theatrical Score." Their musical Island Song was produced in February at the Bloomington Playwrights Project in Indiana ("mesmerizing... vibrant, supercharged" -Herald Times) having had workshops last summer at the Balagan Theatre in Seattle and the Indiana Festival of Theatre, following 2012 concerts at (le) Poisson Rouge in New York and at Crawfish in Tokyo (in Japanese!). Sam and Derek's short children's musical Love, Splat toured the country in the new TheatreWorks USA revue The Teacher From the Black Lagoon and Other Stories, and their song "Eleven O'Clock" was part of Unsung Musicals' Passing Show in June. Other current projects include additional songs for Sheila Levine Is Dead and Living in New York (book by Todd Graff and songs by Michael Devon, direction by Susan Stroman) and Toast (book by Laura Marks). Recent concerts include Sing, But Don't Tell, an evening of Carner & Gregor songs sung by West End performers which sold out London's Matcham Room and a sold-out 54 Below show in April. Sam and Derek will be "Writers in Residence" at the Goodspeed Festival of New Musicals this January in East Haddam, Connecticut.
