Incumbo Theater Company, in special arrangement with the Dramatists Play Service, Inc., will present a limited engagement production of James McLure's Pvt. Wars, a dark comedy about three Vietnam veterans coming to grips with the physical and emotional injuries suffered in combat.

The show will play a three-week limited engagement at Off-Off-Broadway's Gene Frankel Theatre (24 Bond Street). Performances begin Thursday, January 25, and continue through Sunday, February 18th.

Starring in the play will be Jeffry Denman (The Producers, White Christmas), as well as Ethan Baum and Chapin Springer.

The production will also feature a special benefit performance on February 3rd. Following the performance, the audience is invited to participate in a discussion of the current military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan with veterans of each conflict, including members of Iraqi and Afghanistan Veterans of America, Christopher J. McGurk, and recent veteran Rob Timmins.

"We are proud to have the support of the members of Iraqi and Afghanistan Veterans of America in our production of this fantastic play. While almost thirty years have passed from since its initial production, James McLure's PVT. WARS is as relevant and vital today as it ever was," said cast member Ethan Baum. "The play poignantly shows veterans' feelings of vulnerability, displacement and disillusionment upon returning from battle and, ultimately, the camaraderie that allows the healing process to begin."

"I'm proud to be involved in the production of such an important and timely play," said Mark Montgomery, executive director of Incumbo Theater Company. "The talent and dedication of those involved underscore the truth in McLure's writing."

Tickets are $18 and are now available online at www.smarttix.com or www.incumbo.org, or by calling 212-868-4444. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the theatre one hour prior to show time.
