Delete Blood Cancer DKMS today announced its second annual Blood Ball -- a Halloween-inspired, dark circus-themed fundraising event supporting the organization's work in the fight against blood cancers.

More than 300 guests are expected at the benefit, to be held on Thursday, October 29, 2015, from 8 - 11:00 p.m. at The Box, an exclusive New York City club. The costume ball will feature live circus themed performances, and dance music by MICK, an A-list deejay who has done past events for DKMS as well as private parties for noted celebrities. Members of the artistic committee and expected guests include Teresa Moore (Model), Julie Henderson (Model), Sarah Brown (Vogue Contributing Editor/Writer), Derek Lam (Fashion Designer), Mia Moretti (DJ/Designer), Kelly Cutrone (NY Times Best Selling Author/America's Next Top Model judge), and Bryanboy (Fashion Blogger/TV Personality).

"Every three minutes, someone in the U.S. is diagnosed with a blood cancer. The Blood Ball is a way to raise awareness and funds to help people battling these deadly diseases, and share our message with a younger audience," explained Jaclinn Tanney, Director of Fundraising and Development at DKMS. "The event is open to the public and 100% of every dollar raised goes directly to bone marrow donor registration."

Event sponsors include Godiva Chocolatier, Ricky's NYC, WhistlePig Whiskey, and Lilou Paris. Official champagne and spirit sponsors are Veuve Clicquot and Belvedere Vodka.
