Have you ever wondered about the girl behind the iconic poster? Yes that one, in the red bandana. Rosie, an out-of-the-box Brooklynite in 1942, must reckon her slogan-centric ideals of feminism with a world more real, diverse, and complex than she ever imagined. Rosie the musical gets the iconic riveter jumping off the page in this hilarious, original story that will make the 40's feel more contemporary than ever.

The creative team also includes Lauren Weinberger (producer), Ron Ginsburg & Santiago Corral (producer),Off-Brand Opera (associate producer), (Erin Kennedy (assistant music director), Marián Gómez Villota (Sound Designer), Dailee Morrone (stage manager) and Evan Bernardin Productions (general manager).

This is Landau's first musical since Psyche (psychethemusical.com). Recently his song cycle "The Coin Toss", which was most recently seen at Lincoln Center was "so creative and innovative that one cannot help but be reminded of another musical theater titan whom everyone admires [Sondheim]" (Broadway World).
