Lucky Pelican Productions will present Michèle Aldin's Dear America, as part of the 10th Annual New York International Fringe Festival – Fringe NYC. Performances will begin on August 12th at The Flea Theatre (41 White Street).  The show will run through August 24th.

Directed by Lauren Rosen, Dear America features Mike Berberich, Polly Lee*, Patricia Randell* and Shawn-Caulin Young.

"Teen terrorism hits the suburbs. Two boys suspected of bombing their High School are grilled by the authorities. Will these two life-long best friends turn against one another to escape jail time? Who is actually guilty of the crime?," state notes on the show.

Aldin's last play, 31 Bond, was commissioned by and produced at the Brooklyn Lyceum in New York. She is currently working on an original musical dark comedy, Little Mary, with composer/lyricist Keith Gordon. She is an alumna of the Women's Project & Production's Playwrights' Lab and the Looking Glass Theatre Playwright's Lab. Lauren Rosen has directed for the Culture Project, Lincoln Center Directors' Lab, the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival and the Brick Theatre.

The show will play: Sat. 8/12 at 9pm, Tues. 8/15 at 6:45pm, Fri. 8/18 at 6:45, Sun. 8/20 at noon, and Thurs. 8/24 at 9pm.
