Total Faith in Cosmic Love, a new play by
Maxim magazine editor and
Whitehouse.org writer John DeVore, will be presented at the Brick Theater in Williamsburg, Brooklyn on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8 PM, from March 2nd through April 1st. The show will open on March 9th.
Directed by R.J. Tolan, artistic director of Ensemble Theatre Studio's Youngblood program, the show "is a dark romantic comedy for those with plenty of The Cure on their Ipod, and a secret drawer full of shredded love letters. Torn between falling in and out of love, Ashley waits for a bus to carry her away from yet another heartbreak and learns that Happily Ever After is a matter of timing." The play will feature Kate Sandberg; the other lead role has yet to be cast.
"John DeVore is an editor for noted literary journal
Maxim Magazine, and a lead writer for the right-wing fetish site,
Whitehouse.org," state press notes. His most recent plays include

Tupperware Orgy. This past summer he produced
Dear Dubya: Love Letters to Whitehouse.org at The Brick, and has written for
