Stand-Up Month finishes strong when David Spade returns to Comedy Central with the world premiere of his new one-hour stand-up special, "David Spade: My Fake Problems," debuting on Sunday, May 4 at 10:00 p.m. For fans that can't wait to catch Spade's new material, the special will be available on April 27, one week ahead of the on-air premiere, on CC: Stand-Up Direct.

In his first hour-long stand-up special in over ten years, Spade goes back to his roots to remind audiences why Rolling Stone magazine named him a Hot Stand-Up Comedian so early in his career. In front of a live audience at the famed Fonda Theatre in Hollywood, he covers many exotic topics with his trademark snarky delivery, including doing gymnastics to the tune of "Macho Man" and the time Chris Farley bought him 10 lap dances in a row.

The Comedy Central App will offer fans who sign in via their cable or satellite provider the extended and uncensored special the day after air. They will also have access to a treasure trove of additional content from the #1 brand in comedy. The Comedy Central app for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch is available for free on the App Store or at AppStore.com/cc.

On May 6 the extended and uncensored edition of "David Spade: My Fake Problems" will be available on Amazon Instant Video, iTunes, Xbox Video, Sony Entertainment Network, and Vudu. The digital album will also be available on May 6 at major retailers including iTunes and Amazon MP3.

Leading up to the on-air premiere, Comedy Central Stand-Up and cc.com/spade will feature preview clips from the special, including a "Comedy Central Re-Animated" clip produced by CC:Studios, with animation by Titmouse. Spade will also take part in a Reddit "Ask Me Anything" Q&A in the week leading up to the on-air premiere, and fans can follow him on Twitter at @DavidSpade.

Nominated in 1999 for an Emmy® Award for his memorable role as Dennis Finch, the wise-cracking, power-hungry assistant on "Just Shoot Me," Spade became a household favorite during his five-year stint as a cast member of NBC's "Saturday Night Live," where he served as both a writer and a performer. Nominated for a Golden Globe in 2000 and an American Comedy Award in 1999 for his work on "Just Shoot Me," he was recently seen on the seventh and final season of the CBS comedy "Rules of Engagement."

Most recently Spade was seen starring alongside Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, and Kevin James in Sony Pictures' "Grown Ups 2," a follow up to the 2010 hit comedy about a group of childhood friends who reunite years later.

"David Spade: My Fake Problems" is executive produced by Spade, Marc Gurvitz and John Irwin. Toni Magon and Ryan Moran are the Executives in Charge for Comedy Central.
