David Hasselhoff To Replace Simon Cowell on Britain's Got Talent?

PopEater is reporting that Simon Cowell has tapped David Hasselhoff to replace him as a judge on Britain's Got Talent.

An insider tells PopEater, "David is super excited about the move ... plus, returning to the judges table is great for David because it will finally put to rest those ugly rumors that Simon fired him from 'America's Got Talent' and replaced him with Howie Mandel."

Hasselhoff is no stranger to the position, as he sat on the panel for the American version of the talent show for four seasons.

Cowell will be leaving Britain's Got Talent in order to take on a role on the American version of The X Factor.
