David Christensen and Sarah Ziegler to Premiere New Song in Broadway Babylon's Feinstein's/54 Below Concert

David Christensen and Sarah Ziegler wrote a new opening number for Broadway Babylon 101: Everything Old Is New Again at Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, Tomorrow, January 31st at 9:30 P.M.
Performing in the show will be Ephie Aardema (The Bridges of Madison County, Songbird), Mark Campbell (The Phantom of The Opera Nat'l Tour), Jenn Harris (Silence! The Musical), Rose Hemingway (How to Succeed...) Molly Pope (Found), Christopher Rice (The Book of Mormon), & Bret Shuford (Cirque Du Solei's Paramour) Marisha Wallace (Something Rotten!) and more join Broadway Babylon for their inaugural concert at Feinstein's/54 Below.
The show will celebrate musical theatre lovers everywhere. Piece by piece they will stitch together a brand new musical made up of pieces of other musicals. From the "I Want Song" to the "11'O'Clock Number," from classic to contemporary scores.
Broadway Babylon is a strong community of Broadway professionals and Broadway fans alike. We've been collaborating with Feinstein's/54 Below to create an ongoing series and this will be the inaugural concert event.
Hosting the event are Broadway Babylon favorites, William Cortez-Statham (Co-administrator of Broadway Babylon) & Jamison Daniels (So Ya Wanna Be A Broadway Star?). The show will be directed by Blayze Teicher (Alexander Sage Oyen's A Night Like This) with music direction by Jose Simbulan.
Also starring in the concert will be Jen Bechter (Disenchanted), Deb Radloff (CSC's Caucasian Chalk Circle), Elanna White (Kerrigan & Lowdermilk's The Bad Years) and Ellen Zolezzi (Cagney).
The show will also feature: Olithea Anglin, Katie Finan, Bethany Lauren James, Patricia McCarthy, Kayla Tomas, RJ Vallaincourt, and Sarah Ziegler.
Broadway Babylon 101: Everything Old Is New Again plays Feinstein's/54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on Sunday, January 31st at 9:30 P.M. There is a $30-$65 cover charge and $pa25 food and beverage minimum. Tickets and information are available at www.54Below.com. DAVID CHRISTENSEN (Music) David Christensen is an NYC based writer and performer, and a member of the BMI Lehman Engel Advanced Musical Theater Writing Workshop. His material has been performed at such venues as the Laurie Beechman, Joe's Pub, and most recently 54 Below, with a concert of new, original musical theater songs for women entitled "Lady Parts" with fellow writer Sarah Ziegler.

SARAH ZIEGLER (Lyricist) Sarah Ziegler is a lyricist/bookwriter and singer/actress. She is currently an advanced member of the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop. Most recently, Sarah and composer Nicky Phillips had their short musical, So You Think You Can Kill, in Prospect Theatre's Fall Musical Theatre Lab, Stage Fright. Sarah is developing a musical about the Bronte sisters with composer Lucas Syed for NYC's Theater in Asylum. Sarah has had her work performed at cabaret spaces and theaters across the city and was a featured songwriter at the semi-annual BMI Smoker (2013). In April 2015, she was the winner of The York Theatre's "Tune in Time," a musical theater speed-writing game show. Sarah made her New York Theatre Barn concert debut in April 2015, in which she was a featured writer in their New Works Series. She made her 54 Below debut as a lyricist and performer in Lady Parts. Sarah has a Masters in Musical Theatre from The Boston Conservatory and loves taking the stage as a performer herself. A couple favorite roles include Johanna in Sweeney Todd with Piper Theater in Brooklyn, Jane in Pirates! Gilbert and Sullivan Plunder'd at the Huntington Theatre in Boston, and Mary in Little Mary Sunshine with Musicals Tonight, New York City.
