David Bowie and Enda Walsh's LAZARUS, which premiered at New York Theatre Workshop last year, is coming to King's Cross Theatre for a run 25 October-22 January 2017. It's directed by Ivo van Hove, and several cast members from the New York production are reprising their roles: Michael C Hall, Michael Esper and Sophia Anne Caruso. Full casting to be announced.

Inspired by the book The Man Who Fell To Earth, Lazarus focuses on Thomas Newton, as he remains still on Earth - a 'man' unable to die, his head soaked in cheap gin and haunted by a past love. We follow Newton during the course of a few days where the arrival of another lost soul - might set him finally free.

The production features lighting and scenic design by Jan Versweyveld, costume design by An D'Huys, video design by Tal Yarden, sound design by Tony Gayle, music direction Henry Hey, choreography Annie-B Parson, hair and wig design by Richard Mawbey and casting by Jill Green.
