Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus' MAMMA MIA!, now in its 10th year on Broadway, will welcome new principals John Hemphill, David Beach, Jordan Dean and Jacob Pinion to the Winter Garden Theatre (1634 Broadway) on Monday, June 6, 2011.
John Hemphill will make his Broadway debut as "Sam Carmichael" following starring in the MAMMA MIA! national tour. Broadway veteran
Lisa Brescia (Wicked, Aida, The Woman in White), continues opposite him in her starring role as "Donna Sheridan."
David Beach (Broadway's Urinetown) returns to the MAMMA MIA! Broadway company as "Harry Bright," and
Patrick Boll (Faith Healer) continues as "Bill Austin," rounding out the trio of men from Donna's past who are Sophie's three possible dads.
Liana Hunt continues in her Broadway debut performance as bride-to-be "Sophie Sheridan," following starring in the role on the U.S. national tour.
Jordan Dean (Broadway's Cymbeline) joins the cast as her fiancé "Sky." Jacob Pinion will make his Broadway debut as "Sky's" sidekick "Pepper."
Judy McLane (Chess, Kiss of the Spiderwoman) and
Jennifer Perry (Broadway debut) continue as "Tanya" and "Rosie," Donna's best friends and former back-up band known as "Donna and the Dynamos" who reunite on a Greek island for the wedding of Donna's daughter, Sophie.
