Carolines on Broadway, New York City's premier comedy venue, presents its talented line-up for the month of July, highlighted by headliners Michael Blackson, "The African King of Comedy," from the film Next Friday, July 1 and 2; David Alan Grier, from NBC's The Carmichael Show, July 6 - 8; Sugar Sammy, from his HBO Canada special In Concert: Direct from Montreal , July 13 - 15; Craig Shoemaker, "The Love Master," July 19; Gilbert Gottfried, from the documentary film Gilbert, July 20; and Colin Jost, co-anchor of Weekend Update on NBC's Saturday Night Live, July 21 and 22; and Lil Duval, from the film Grow House, July 27 - 30.
Themed shows taking place in July are Carolines New Talent, featuring New York's best emerging talent, on July 3, 5, 10, 17, 24 and 31; The Funniest Show on Broadway, featuring the best and brightest comedians from the Carolines roster, on July 3, 10, 17, 24, 27 and 31; and the Breakout Artist Comedy Series featuring Katie Hannigan on July 11 and Matt Bachus on July 25; and Trump Day, a political comedy starring Bob DiBuono as "President Trump," on July 12.
Carolines on Broadway will also feature Peter Smith, non-binary comedian, holding court for one night only with fellow comedian Sandy Honig and burlesque artist Luna Love, on July 6; Josh Gondelman, from TBS' Conan, on July 9; a live taping of the Gone Girls podcast, featuring co-hosts Shauna Lane and Ankara Savone, with special guests Frank Liotti, Yamaneika Saunders and Mike Vecchione, on July 12; Paul Virzi, from his comedy album "Night at The Stand,"on July 20; and Betta Not Bring Ya Kids, with headliner Toni Byrd and featuring Rashad Bashir, Kevin Mason, Mills, Justin Ramos and Quan Wiggins, on July 13.
