Dave Chappelle wasn't having it from a heckling crowd at the Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival in Hartford on Thursday night, where he was headlining as part of the "Funny Or Die" tour.
The comedian reportedly stopped telling jokes after 10 minutes when four audience members heckled him, writes the New York Post. He then sat on the stage for 20 minutes and read an excerpt from Mack Mama's book Tales of an Original Bad Girl while smoking cigarettes.
At one point, Chappelle told the audience, "You are booing yourself." He later added: "My contract only says 25 minutes, and I only have three minutes left. When my three is up my ass is gone."
