THE GREEN ROOM 42 will present MOSTLY GAY STUFF, the solo comedy hour/cabaret debut of award-winning composer Danny K Bernstein, on Friday September 7th at 9:30 pm.
After what he describes as "a year or two of heartbreak, mental illness, and boys-who-stopped-texting-back," composer Danny K Bernstein will make his solo debut, performing his material himself, instead of relying on his talented friends and their superior vocal chords. MOSTLY GAY STUFF will feature his more familiar songs like "Just This Once" and "I'm Glad You Both Are Happy," as well as several other new pieces that he recently penned when he claimed he was "feeling a lot of feelings." Bernstein describes the show as "a fun, hilarious show for gays who haven't quite found their comfort content for when they're sobbing at 2 AM." Bernstein also says this show is for everyone, including "straight people who would like to better understand why their gay friends act really weird sometimes." The show will blend songs, with stand-up, and will also feature music director Nick Wilders (Jersey Boys Nat'l Tour).
