The New York Theatre Barn will present a staged reading of the new musical I Married Wyatt Earp at The Players' Loft (115 McDougall Street, 2nd Floor, at Minetta Lane) on Tuesday, July 31 at 12 noon and 3pm. The reading is free, but by invitation only.
The show features Book by Sheilah Rae and Thomas Edward West, Lyrics by Sheilah Rae and Music by Michele Brourman. Graciela Daniele (Ragtime, Once on this Island, The Pirate Queen, Annie Get Your Gun) will direct the musical, which will feature Music Direction by Henry Aronson and Casting by Kerry Waterson.
The cast includes: Tovah Feldshuh (Tony Award-nominee for Golda's Balcony, Lend Me a Tenor, Sarava, and Yentl), Cass Morgan (Mary Poppins, Ring of Fire, Pump Boys and Dinettes), Veronica J. Kuehn (Mamma Mia!), Stephanie Palumbo, Ann Crumb (Aspects of Love, Les Miserables, Chess), Sally Wilfert, Anne Berkowitz, Marla Schaffel (Jane Eyre, Tony Award-nominee), Evalyn Baron (Quilters, Tony Award-nominee), Carey Brown and Montego Glover.
