Headliner Dan Mengini is an Atlanta comic icon and favorite in clubs and on campuses across the nation. Dan has been seen by millions in hit movies and television shows and can be seen at Aurora Comedy Nights on January 17 & 18 at 7:15pm and 9:15pm. The huge night of comedy includes two terrific feature acts, Mike Haun and Jeremy Mesi along with the hostess of Aurora Comedy Nights, the bright young comedienne Katie Causey. Aurora Theatre has been hosting the best local and national comedians since 2007. Aurora is offering a way for frequent laughers to enjoy attending live comedy in Gwinnett at a deep discount. ComedyTix is a punchcard with 6 flexible admissions that may be used at any Aurora Comedy Nights event for only $69.60, a savings of over $45.

Dan is a stand-up comedian and actor who was born in Bermuda and raised in the United States of America. Dan's notable television appearances include Showtime's Homeland, USA Network's Necessary Roughness, Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva, The CW's One Tree Hill, and a starring role on Adult Swim's live action shows The Restless Bell and The Rising Son. He has also appeared in over 50 national TV commercials. Dan tours Comedy Clubs, colleges, and performing arts venues across the country. His last name is pronounced "Men ghee nee." Dan also appeared in the feature film 42, the life story of Jackie Robinson, directed by Academy Award-winner Brian Helgeland (L.A. Confidential) and starring Harrison Ford.

Mike Haun storms the stage with the runaway kinetic energy of a sleepy librarian, as he compels audience members to listen to every word of his act lest they wonder why everyone else is laughing uproariously. Named Atlanta's Best Comic by Dave FM in 2008, the South's Funniest Person in 2009, and Atlanta's Top Comic in 2012. It stands to reason that, national fame is sure to follow this trend of local acclaim. Mike Haun is an up and coming star whose act should not be missed.

A perfect mix of old school and new school, Jeremy Mesi is a polished comedian who over the past decade has opened for Kathleen Madigan, Howie Mandel and Ron White at places such as The Punchline, Lakewood Amphitheater, and in his kitchen.

Hostess Katie Causey is a member of multiple improv and sketch comedy groups in Athens and in Atlanta. She is a recent UGA grad and an alumnus of the very first Aurora Theatre Apprentice Company.

Programing for Aurora Comedy Nights is made possible through the generous support of the series sponsor, Explore Gwinnett.
