Bruce Carter, founder of Dallas' W.A.G. Program that services close to 80,000 teens state-wide, has invited a few friends from Hollywood to push for educaton reform in Dallas, TX during 'The Big Game'. Due to recent financial constraint in education programs for the inner city youth, Mr. Carter recently had to close the doors on his tutoring program as a result of a lack of funding for educators. As the largest free tutoring program in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex area, hundreds of thousands were left in dire distress.

Actor Michael Jai White, from Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married I & II; Vivica Fox, from Kill Bill and Set It Off; Regina King (Southland), Tommy Ford (Martin), and Kellita Smith from The Bernie Mac Show, are just a handful of people that have offered their support to help raise funds for Dallas' Black and Hispanic youth.

Community leaders are encouraged to partcipate and support the WAG Program and the OSP Fund; both staples in the Dallas community, aiding hundreds of thousands of people locally. For more informaton on ways to partcipate, log on to www.wagprogram.com or call 972.298.5815.

More on W.A.G. Program:
The Wag Program since its incepton has always created its revenue versus waiting and hoping for grants and other federal funding. Wag now understands even more the need for Molding Our Next Generaton. In order to address some issues at epidemic porton such as teenage and unplanned pregnancy, truancy and low graduaton rates we must be financially sound. The three tournaments will allow us an opportunity to do so. These tournaments will also allow WAG to provide employment to deserving youth. The uniqueness of WAG Program is that it utilizes mobile certified teachers; who come to the student's location to tutor (Apartment complexes, recreation centers and churches).
