ET reports exclusively that DANCING WITH THE STARS fan fave Mark Ballas may soon be gracing the stage of Broadway's long-running musical Jersey Boys!
While the former Mirror Ball Trophy winner will not be appearing on the upcoming 23rd season of the ABC dance competition, a source tells the site that the 30-year-old dancer will be relocating to the Big Apple this month in order to appear in a "main role" in the show.
This will not be Ballas' first time acting in a musical production. He has taken on the lead role in the musical Copacabana, and also appeared in the U.K. National Tour of Maria de Buenos Aires. The dancer joined Dancing With the Stars as a pro for the show's fifth season and has gone on to win the grand prize twice during that time, once with Olympic figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi in season six, and again in season eight with Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson.
