DVR Alert - THE COLOR PURPLE's Jennifer Hudson to Visit NBC's 'Late Night', 1/4

NBC has announced that on Monday, January 4th, Jennifer Hudson, star of the current Broadway revival of THE COLOR PURPLE, will appear on LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS. Other guests scheduled to appear on the broadcast are actress Jennifer Jason Leigh and musical guest Zella Day. Be sure to set your DVR's. The new Broadway revival of THE COLOR PURPLE opened on December 10 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 W 45th Street).

Grammy, Academy Award, and Golden Globe award winnerJennifer Hudson makes her Broadway debut opposite Cynthia Erivo, the breakout star of John Doyle's acclaimed Menier Chocolate Factory production, and Orange is the New Black'sDanielle Brooks, in the highly anticipated production of The Color Purple. All three women are make their Broadway debuts.
