Durex, the number one condom brand in the world, with over 80 years of experience in sexual wellbeing, partnered with OutCycling, the leading LGBT cycling club in New York City, for the third Annual NYC Pride Ride this past weekend. Durex and OutCycling have joined together around a shared mission of supporting healthy, safe fun in the LGBT community.

"Durex believes that everyone should have the right to a satisfying sex life," said Bruno Alves, Durex Senior Brand Manager. "We're committed to continuing our work with the LGBT community, and our partnership with OutCycling allows us to share sexual health tips and inspirational ideas to bring couples together."

The partnership kicked off early Sunday, when hundreds of cyclists came together for Pride Ride. Participants had the option of biking one of three distances on the roads of New York and New Jersey: 30, 60 and 100 miles. Along the routes, fully-supported rest stops, volunteers, bike shop support and mechanics were available to riders.

The ride concluded with a celebration at the Finish Line Fair on the banks of the Hudson River, where attendees had the chance to enjoy barbeque cooking, participate in fun games and experience live entertainment. OutCycling's Captain Condom Jonathan Hanna, an active member of the LGBT community, shared safety tips and gave away new Invisible Condoms, the thinnest condom developed by Durex, designed to maximize sensitivity, while still providing a high level of security and protection.

OutCycling launched Pride Ride in 2013 in response to the demand for health and wellness activities during Pride each June, a month that celebrates the LGBT community with events and activities nationwide to commemorate, inspire and educate. "In addition to fun, fitness and friendship for all, we need to ensure safety is a priority," said Graham Weinstein, co-founder of OutCycling. "That's why we are excited to partner with Durex again. Together, we can remind the LGBT community to always wear their 'helmets' - both on a bike or in the bedroom!"
