DOCTOR WHO's Louise Jameson Makes New York Theatre Debut this December

This December, Louise Jameson, who is best known for her role in the long-running British science fiction television series "Doctor Who", makes her New York theatre debut in the comedy "My Gay Best Friend" in a strictly limited run from Dec. 1st though Dec. 4th, 2016.

"My Gay Best Friend" is a funny and touching two person comedy that celebrating the highs and lows of true friendship, while dealing with life's melancholy moments, and the childhood dramas that haunt us all. The show has delighted audiences across the UK and is playing Chicago before the New York engagement.

In a ladies' loo in Eastbourne, Rachel is furious because her gay best friend Gavin hasn't turned up to support her as she makes her stage debut. But Gavin has problems of his own. He's too busy in Hurstpierpoint trying to become a father with a lesbian couple and a turkey baster! It can only get crazier from there...

Besides "Doctor Who", Louise Jameson has had a long career in television and theatre in the UK, with lead roles in show as diverse as "Tenko" and "Eastenders". Her real life gay best friend, Nigel Fairs devised and co-wrote this show with her. Nigel is a well-known British actor, writer, and producer.
