The Daryl Roth Theatre continues with their new Coffee House series Thursday, September 28 in the D-Lounge cabaret space.
Coffee House is a monthly event featuring new work from writers of all varieties: playwrights, poets, short story writers, essayists, etc. Each writer will present approximately ten minutes of his or her new work.
This month's event will feature:
Phil Geoffrey Bond, presenting the first ten minutes of his play,
The Other Side of Darkness.Mark William Butler, presenting his self-contained monologues with music,
The Other Santa and Starring Me.
Gail DeGirolamo, presenting her solo piece,
Straight to the Top.
John Kearns, presenting his original poetry.
Rob Maitner, presenting an excerpt from his solo performance piece,
The Misadventures of Robbie Maitner.
Included in the cast are Richard Butler, Kristine Louis and
Mark Janas.
The series kicked off on August 31st. There is a $7 cover charge, as well as a two-drink minimum. The D-Lounge is located within The
Daryl Roth Theatre complex at 101 East 15th St., right off of Union Square East.
