Norbert Leo Butz and Katie Holmes, stars of the new Broadway comedy Dead Accounts, will be guests on WOR's "The Joan Hamburg Show" tomorrow, December 5 from 1 PM – 1:30 PM. WOR broadcasts on 710 AM or can be heard online at http://wor710.com/pages/11610132.php.
DEAD ACCOUNTS, the new play by Pulitzer Prize finalist Theresa Rebeck, directed by three-time Tony winner Jack O'Brien is now playing at Broadway's Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street). In addition to Butz and Holmes, the production also stars Judy Greer, Josh Hamilton, and two-time Tony Award nominee Jayne Houdyshell.
In Dead Accounts, Jack's (Butz) unexpected return throws his family into a frenzy, and his sister Lorna (Holmes) needs answers. Is he coming home or running away? Where is his wife (Greer) everyone hates? And how did he get all that money? Theresa Rebeck's new comedy tackles the timely issues of corporate greed, small town values, and whether or not your family will always welcome you back…with no questions asked.
The creative team for the production features five-time Tony nominee David Rockwell (scenic design), five-time Tony winner Catherine Zuber (costume design), David Weiner (lighting design), Mark Bennett (sound design, original music), and Tom Watson (hair design).
DEAD ACCOUNTS is produced by Jeffrey Finn, John N. Hart Jr., David Mirvish, Amy Nauiokas, Ergo Entertainment, Harriet Newman Leve, Double Gemini Productions, 3toGo Entertainment, and The Shubert Organization.
