Children's Collage Workshop
Friday, October 22
3:30PM - 4:30PM in the DAC gallery

Teaching artist Victoria Callabro will lead children (and interested parents) as we explore the medium of collage. Each student will make 1-2 collages out of pre-cut paper, felt, and fabric. The students will experiment with color placement, size and shape relationships, and textures to form dynamic works of art inspired by animals.

This workshop is geared towards children 3 years old and up, accompanied by an adult. Children under 4 may need assistance from a parent, babysitter, or other adult friend.
There is a fee of $25 per child, which covers materials and helps to support future children's programs at DAC.

Full schedule of workshops is online. Email gallery@dumboartscenter.org or call 718.694.0831 to register. Space is limited, so please call now!

Dumbo Arts Center is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit public registered charity, supported in part, by public funds from The National Endowment for the Arts, New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and New York State Council on the Arts.
