D3C & BrooklynONE to Present Dream-Centric One Act Plays Tonight at Mr. Dennehy's

Dialogue with Three Chords (D3C) teams with BrooklynONE productions (bkONE) to present "The Collective Consciousness of Connected Memories (like times B4)." The anthology of consist of short one acts plays dealing with dreams, our memories and their effect on our experiences. "Collective Consciousness... " includes two scenes from playwright Aaron Jaros, a scene by the late BrooklynONE co-founder Tom Kane, and marks the playwriting debut of BrooklynONE Artistic Director Anthony Marino. The performance is on June 27th at 8pm at Mr. Dennehy's on 63 Carmine Street in Manhattan. Admission is free and donations are welcome.

"We are looking forward to presenting our works at Mr. Dennehy's," remarked Marino, "Dialogue with Three Chords has provided us with a great opportunity to show New York CIty that Brooklyn has some great theatre and arts going on." BrooklynONE began as a reading series in 2006, and has since expanded its vision to include producing and developing films, dance and musical acts based in Brooklyn. For D3C co-founder and playwright Stephen Gracia, who was born and raised in Brooklyn, it was a natural fit: "getting to work with the dedicated and talented artists of BrooklynONE was invigorating and inspiring. To be able to support Brooklyn-based artists is incredibly gratifying>

'HERE IT IS (fools in Tandem)' features Thomas J Kane, Walter Costello. 'Men Will Fall Like Times B4' features Anton Koval, Anthony Marino and Anthony Noto. 'Far Fetched' features Tom Felicciardi, John Heffernan and Eddie Rodriguez. 'STARS/window' features Stephen Fontana and Catherine Leib.

BrooklynONE productions was founded in 2006 as a haven for new, bold, alternative and experimental works. With a focus on ensemble work, the artistic process and community activism BrooklynONE continues to cultivate thought provoking works and mentor new and emerging artists of all ages and levels. BrooklynONE keeps a residence in South Brooklyn, having had their works produced through out Brooklyn and Manhattan.

Dialogue with Three Chords was founded in 2011 by Stephen Gracia and Michael LoPorto and applies the do-it-yourself philosophy of punk to the stage and features short plays and live music. Their work has also been produced at Sargent Theatre, Makor Theater, DUMBO Theatre Exchange, Levenson Hall at Brooklyn College, and the Theaters at 45 Bleecker.
